- You don't need glass for external anode tubes because you are dealing with lower temperatures and infrared radiated by the anode does not have to escape thru the glass. Any material that has low diel

- Kurt, This chimney is 4 5/8 id by 5 1/4 high, great for 4-400's. It's possible that Coleman makes a larger industrial light with a larger pyrex globe. 73, Bob K6JQA __________________________________

- Lamp chimneys are not the best thing for tube chimneys. The problem is they do not have a lip that directs air to the plate seal on the top of the tube like a real tube chimney does. 73 Gary K4FMX __
