- I see many people use an Anode Voltage of up to 4000 volts on these tubes even though it is only rated for a max of 2200 volts anode voltage. Are they just pushing the envelope or is the tube rated f

- Bill, Emtron puts as much as 4400 volts on the GU84b, but they do monitor the tube closely, according to a friend... I think that Chris is right, anywhere from 3000 to 4000 volts should work just fin
