Recently I had occasion to have to rebuild THREE power supply units ( located under the chassis) of the Commander line of amps. Two HF2500s and one VHF2000. Both use the same power supply board.
I made these boards a few years ago and have them available and have sold numerous units. glass /solder mask etc., If you need some let me know. AJ___ VE3HJ On 1/19/24 08:09, gudguyham-- via Amps wro
Thank you!! I would be very thankful to be able to purchase one of your boards from you for my Command HF2500! Please let me know how to proceed. I will get a check to you immediately or use another

Yeah, it is a bit of a pain to get to the HV parts but not too bad. Phil, VK6GX cut the bottom out of his amp where the parts live while he had everything apart. He made a new cover plate and now has

No, a Doc bought it up here. AJ___ VE3HJ Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aol-news-email-weather-video/id646100661> I had a Palstar 2500E (3X3CPX800A7) IIRC Paul t
I hope Palstar's changes included mounting the front panel meters with nuts and bolts. The Command amp we looked at had the meters GLUED to the front panel, something I have never seen before or sinc

I think that all the amps I own and certainly all the ones I've built, have used a full wave voltage doubler in the HV department. 73, Alek VK6APK On 22/01/2024 7:58 pm, Rob Atkinson wrote: I hope P

The one we saw had a dinky 1 KV transformer with a v.d. to get it to 2 KV. Clearly the designs evolved and where a unit fits in the timeline matters. 73 Rob K5UJ _____________________________________
