I use standard easy to do zener bias. There are plenty of examples on the net. Search for QRO and go to the amplifier section. There are plenty of other ways also and maybe mo better. It sounds to me

Plate voltage has large influence on idle current...gi7b with 2kv/pl works good with 48v/50watt zener diode,assuming proper grounded grid design...Nearly every Russian tube (Triode) Iv`e played with

Thanks guys! I am using a pot to vary the voltage divided to the zener so I can find a value that works. Some guys say that 12-24v is good bias, and some say that you have 41v bias??? I am using a 2n
