For AM the issue is cooling but at around a 400W carrier (if you intend to be legal) you have plenty of margin in the tubes. Both amps are cooled well so its more a personal choice. Carl KM1H _______

I don't know much about those amps except I think both are ceramic tube amps. If they have a lot of gain (requiring very low drive) then AM operating may be touchy depending on the exciter. You may f
