The only person that I know who has a good mod for what you are talking about is Dick Bryd. His mod works. All the others don't. I know because I had a mod in my Alpha 76 that was supposed to work. I

I just measured a choke sent to me by some ham that used a ferrite or iron core and it was terrible. Came from some KK5 or K5 design on the web. It had a ton of inductance, far more than needed, but
