- Perhaps some of the amp gurus can get me in the right direction: Plate-current-platevoltage-grid current normal...amp only puts out 400 w. Put in new set of finals...same result. I am leaning towards

- Is the resting plate current normal? If so, the zener is not your problem. What is the SWR looking into the amp? Is that low? Is your exciter folding back in power? Is the testing being done in a dum
