Hi Guys, one of the tubes, 8875 went south in my Dentron MLA 2500B. What is interesting, is that it has occasional contact between pins 5 and 6 when tapping on the body. Measured resistance in good t

5 and 6 are the heater. I have had luck with light bulbs when a small break in the filament was "welded" after tapping them with voltage applied. The bulb lasted almost 6 months. Probably worth a try

A single 3CX800 is all the MLA-2500 power transformer can handle and you will increase available dissipation from 600 to 800W. Cooling changes are a little involved but you have a lot of dissipation
