Which cement could be appropriate to fix the loose top cap in one of my 813's?. It works very well, the cap has been detached from the glass, but still in place by means of the plate connection wire.

Dear Guillermo, As this spot in the 813 is especially warm it might be a good idea to use high-temperature (Red) RTV Silicone. Barring that availability, Refractory cement or dental plaster will work

RTV (silicone Cement) works very well. It bonds to glass and metal well and is very resistant to temperature. Try it sometime. Take a cured glob of Silicone Cement and put your soldering iron against
