I had an SB-220 with Amperex graphite anode 3-500's in it. They were virtually indestructible, although they didn't put out quite as much as the old Eimac tantalum plate versions. Mike, W1NR

Leakage c. 10uA @ 8kV instead of c 5uA @ 8kV. The reason is that graphite tends to hide air molecules during pumping. ? UPS blue/air is a bit better than brown/ground. ? A friend bought a Triton 3-5
