- Looking through Bill Orr's handbook, I found a table that gives the 3rd order IMD for 6146's in AB1 as about -24/25 db. If that's the case, how can your signal be any cleaner than that as long as the

- As much as I believe Hallicrafters and Johnson are well designed transmitters, I don't believe they use NFB in their finals. The equipment at my QTH is exclusively boat anchor. David KC2JD --Original
