I've been given a complete 1967 Eimac data sheet on the Eimac 3CX3000A1, which I added to my web site at: http://www.g8wrb.org/data/Eimac/3CX3000A1.pdf It shows the anode dissipation as 3 kW max. Yet

For what it's worth, I have a 1992 Varian catalog and the 3CX3000A1/8238 and the 3CX3000F1/8239 are both rated as 4000 watts plate dissipation. 73, Ken W2DTC ______________________________________ Ke
