- REPLY: Equally important for that tube is whether the filament pins are soldered or welded. I was told that Amperex brand are welded. You can save yourself some future trouble my insisting on welded.

- They work perfectly, I purchased four from the them (two matched pairs) for HF SB-221 and for SB-220 converted to Six meters. Six meter amp almost hits 1400 watts and HF amp hit 1200 watts. Mike K6BR
