- The only restriction is that the PTT line cannot be keyed for 3 minutes after you light the filament. You need a timer for each amps PTT line. HV being present at all times is not a problem. (((73)))

- Dick, You went to a lot of trouble and expense. The HV can be there all the time. You just need to prevent the PTT relay from closing for 3 min. after the filament lights. All Alpha amps that use 887
