Lost the receive path somewhere in the Alpha 77DX just before the end of the WPX test this past weekend. The direct/aux slide switch has been by-passed so that isn't the problem. Transmit works fine.

I have used the max/min Radio Shack type thermometers in the airflow on some of my amps...These only go up to 160 or 170 F - not really high enough. They go off scale with the Henry 5-K very quickly,

I would suggest using the encapsulated sealed relays such as the Potter and Brumfield RKS-5DW-12 (about 8$ in Canada) or the lighter rated - and cheaper ($C2.50) Aromat JS1E-12v. I think both are in
