Yo 4CX1600B owners After many years of faithful service, (rode hard, put away wet), my QRO 3k amp "banged" during the WW. Easy repair, the bridge rectifier for the -160 VDC control grid was shorted.

Hi Rich It looks like Ray, QRO, added the resistor after 1995 as a mod. It also has an inductor in series but the value is not marked in the drawing. Why do you ask? Point of interest about convertin

Yo amps Interesting debate on the 4CX1600B tube. This is a real workhorse tube and it's too bad it has been dropped by the amp makers due supply problems. I never heard from anyone that had the tube
