- Yo 4CX1600B owners After many years of faithful service, (rode hard, put away wet), my QRO 3k amp "banged" during the WW. Easy repair, the bridge rectifier for the -160 VDC control grid was shorted.

- Hi Rich It looks like Ray, QRO, added the resistor after 1995 as a mod. It also has an inductor in series but the value is not marked in the drawing. Why do you ask? Point of interest about convertin

- Yo amps Interesting debate on the 4CX1600B tube. This is a real workhorse tube and it's too bad it has been dropped by the amp makers due supply problems. I never heard from anyone that had the tube
