The Dentron 160-10L model came stock with 811A tubes and Dentron later came out with the 160-10M model for the 572B tubes.  The manual states it supposed to have something between 1700 - 2000 VDC ...

Mike, the resistor at the bottom end of thos caps is listed as R-10 but the manual does not list it at all.  The one that is in mine is a 2 watt 100 ohm with wire wound around the outside and the imp

I also have the wonderful Hunter 2000C amp... My standing voltage is 2700 VDC...same caps ... this amp has a diode block arrangement, very heavy duty parts.  Make sure you are running the AUX LOAD in

The HV meter on the Hunter reads only up to 3000 VDC, so I am assuming you are using an external meter to measure the voltage.  Also if the caps were replaced that could possibly explain some of the

I have had several sweep tube amps, Swan 1200W latest.... the tubes you mention are equivalent but I would not mix them with different tubes..best to stick with same tube number and same manufacturer

The Hunter 2000C will accept 3-500z tubes, however, the screen over the tubes will have to be removed or modified..I run mine without the screen on...easy to get to the tubes,  unlike the Heath SB=22

Well, it wasn't a trap or a jumper, seems that the TUNE control on this amp is WAY sensitive..move it a bit and the SWR went to Zero..anyone have this experience?  Is this characteristic of this amp
