That deals nicely with the output side. But 811s and 572s have very long grid leads, which make them awful bloody things at 30, let alone 50MHz. So personally, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

Years ago, a friend of mine hooked up a $27,000 Tektronix SA to a 4 element beam and made a qso on 20 meter cw. Only problem was keying it - he had to insert the key in the antenna line. 73, Colin K7

Just for the record an Al-1200 with a good tube and normal plate voltage (about 3600V) could be a little higher with higher main voltage, the amp should produce about 1800 output with 100 watts drive

Just as a suggestion you might observe the PC Plate supressors to make sure they are in good shape and not showing signs of heating due to some "undesired" output on some freq other than the primary
