Hi, Rich always points out that the 3cx1200z7 has much less feedback capacitance than the 3cx1200a7, yet the (CPI) Eimac reference data pages say (and something here doesn't seem right!!) a7 grounded

(and thanks Dave!) < snip, snip > That's what I get, too. OK. So Rich is not correct that the z7 has less feedthrough capacitance, but he's SPOT ON about the z7 being more stable as an HF amplifier.

hi randy, 230F = 110C, which is fairly chilly. i don't have my data sheets handy, but glass/metal seals have numbers like 175C and ceramic/metal about 250C. that's *at the seal* ... you didn't say w
