Phil, The 8660 is the equivalent to the 4CX1500B, The driver tubes are 8122 I found out. Again, if I drive a 8171 to not more then 1,5KW output ever, it should be tuned for that power, not for 20KW 7

I usually do it the other way round as 4-400G/QB4/1100/RS1002A are more rugged then 3-500Z. You will get higher amplification, so perhaps 20% more output with the same driving power by using 3-500Z.
