theres a lot of illegal cb type solid-state amps that are 3-4kw and even more. i suspect one could be cleaned up enough to be suitable for the amateur bands if you were willing to feed it all the cur

your correct tom, the ab1 was a typo after a days work and a few 807's after the job. however these plaomar amps are indeed a biased amp whether it be the simple diode method or not it works rather w
