Someone gave me the solution to this problem a few months back, but I've
misplaced the info.
A recent lightning strike took out my computer, and it seems, the CAT control
in my FT-1000MP. Everything else works fine on the radio.
Someone suggested replacing a single chip. Someone else suggested replacing a
board. The factory says send the radio back, but with the contest season a
couple of weeks away, that's not an option.
Does anyone know which chip...or board?
