There are two 500 Hz filters in the FT-1000D (2nd and 3rd IF).
If either filter is bad or filter XF-E (XF-455K-501-01) has
been removed there will be no output when 500 Hz is selected
unless diode D2046 has been replaced. See Page 41 of your
manual.
