[Yaesu] Mark 5

I wrote asking about the field and thanks to those who confirmed that 
the field is infact identical electrically to the Mk5 but only 100 watts out 
and a 12v PA with the facility to run off a 12v supply..

So I enquired and found that the field is soon to arrive in the UK at 
£2295, but at the moment the 200 watt version is only £2400. which 
makes that veryyyyyyyyy appealing.

I bought a 756pro which is a super rig with lovely color screen but... up 
until then I have always been a Yaesu man and find the Icom OK but 
fiddly and hate the ergonomics..

I have an FT1000D which I want to keep but I do need 2 radios... so my 
question this time is 

Just how good is the Mark 5....

I know the D well and fairly familiar with the original MP.... is the Mark 5 
super progress.
