[Yaesu] FT101EE

Hi Folks,

My buddy has just picked up an FT101EE.  It sounds fine except for when
he releases the PTT.  When he releases the PTT after a transmission I
hear a loud click on his transmit signal and he says he hears a pop in
the FT101's speaker.  Is this normal?
