I want to get better CW front end selectivity for my 990. I am
currently using the stock 500 hz filter. Are there any options or mods
other than the Inrad 250 hz filter for the 990, which I have on order.
Also, is the 10.94 IF 500hz stock filter cascaded with the 250hz 455 IF
filter? The manual doesn't say and the QST review is contradictory, with
one mention saying they work together and another saying they are
independent. I'm not smart enough to figure it out from the schematic.
