Hi.
The FT840 has a TTL level C.A.T. (digital) port. It's a round DIN style
connector.
$45 gets a TTL<->RS232 adaptor and cable from W1GEE. I had mine working 1st
time with Log-EQF, SOFT990, and CT.
It's a great deal for $700 +50!
The FT847 would be my 2nd choice if you also want 50/144/440 and satellite. I
think the CAT is RS232, but I've heard of polling problems - ask.
