Larry,
Not completely sure about this, but check the amount of current required by
the SB220 for that relay. Yaesu rigs, especially, may need an external
relay box when using amps that require more than about .5 amps to turn them
on. Yaesu makes a small relay box for that purpose, or you can build your
own.
Sorry I don't have a more technical reply, but one of the fellows on this
reflector, they're really great, btw, will be able to give you a better
explaniation.
