[Yaesu] FT-51 Problem

Has anyone out there had a problem with an FT-51R not 
powering up?
The problem seems to come and go, sometimes just wiping 
off the battery contacts resolves the problem, other 
times not.  I've cleaned the spring contacts as well as 
those on both batteries...
