1000D vs 1000MP

Hi gang - thanks for reading...

I'm still considering the purchase of a 1000 series
Yaesu and am still unsure of which to purchase...

Can any of you give me a direct comparison between
the D amd MP model FT-1000 radios? Price isn't the
problem - I want the best radio...

PS: I currently own a FT-900 and FT-990 - the 900
is going into the new truck and the 990 is going
to be the "second/standby" radio....
