For a number of years, I fell behind on upgrading Writelog because my computer had
Windows 98, and so I used WL 10.82 for a long time.  Recently, I put together a
Windows 10 computer and upgraded to WL 12.36 (and I'm very happy that I did).
I don't know if Wayne or anyone else can answer this question, but in the version
10's, when you utilized %C to send an exchange, a red box appeared around the call
in the entry window.  If you were quick enough with your typing skills, you
could add or delete a letter or two at the end of the call, and Writelog would
smoothly follow along.
This worked both in CW and in SSB.
But now I don't see that happening in 12.36.  No red box, and no ability to
change the call on the fly.
On the Writelog "revision history" page there is a mention of the "red box" in 10.82 and
10.41.  For example, on the changes in 10.82 it says, "Moving the keyboard focus while a message
transmission is waiting for the CALL field to complete (with its red box) no longer aborts the remainder of the
message."
This was a great on-the-fly way to correct a call without having to hit the ESC
button and start again.
If anyone can shed any light on how to access the red box again, please send it
along.
Thanks.
