Hi Steve,
Well, if they change the rules every other year that makes things a bit tough!
Sounds like they have a different contest manager each year and his gets to
change the rules at will.
I got the 2013 rules link at
http://www.hornucopia.com/contestcal/weeklycont.php#4623 which leads me to
http://www.yudx.yu1srs.org.rs/2013/rules.html.
I can understand the difficulty in coming up with a modified module this week.
If that isn't possible I will try to find another module that accepts serial
number and forget about the score locally and let them score it on their robot.
Or, just forget altogether and work the CQMM contest only. Oh, there isn't a
WL module for that one either!

Hi Gary,
The module was written back in 2005 and has not been updated since. In this
case, the website still shows the rules from 2006 showing exchange as CALL +
ITU zone. (no RST, no serial). http://yudx.net/rulesengl.pdf
Which website are you referencing for the new rules?
I found 2012 rules here:
http://www.yu1srs.org.rs/dl/yudx/Files/yudxrules_2012_eng.pdf ... where the
exchange was RST + ITU zone. RST added here... but still no serial # needed.
I found 2013 rules here:
http://www.srv.org.rs/pages/takmicenja/kt/yudxcont/yudx13ru.pdf ... where the
exchange was changed again to be RST + serial #.
So it seems they change the rules of this contest on a yearly basis, and the
contest organizers did not bother to send me or Wayne an email about it. I'll
take a look, but I doubt that we can spin an entire new release in less than a
week.
Thanks,
Steve N9OH

I am setting up the YU DX Contest module for next weekend and just noticed
a problem with the Entry fields. The current contest rules specify the
exchange as RST + serial number starting from 001. However, the YU DX module
has ITU as an exchange field. I have never run this contest before, but
apparently in earlier years the exchange was RST + ITU zone.
When I enter a sample call and three digit serial number I get an error
message "Field ITU is invalid" and WL will not log the call. To get it to log
I must press Shift+Enter. Forcing the entry of a YU or YT prefix call this way
seems to score the YU/YT multiplier correctly, but a non YU/YT call sign
results in a "?" in the ML column. Is there time to get an updated correction
made to this module before the contest this weekend? Having to force all the
entries with a Shift+Enter combination isn't something I am looking forward to.
