Once you setup your F key messages and Enter sends exchange
You can use the ENTER key to send his call and report
Once you get his report you can hit ENTER again to send your TU QRZ
So
Enter sends CQ
Enter sends Call/Exchange
Enter send QRZ
OR
Just use the F Keys either way works

So do I understand correctly that if N3RS calls me and I type in his
callsign, it doesn't send his callsign and then give the exchange? I have
to use Function keys to achieve this?

Hi Mark,
Writelog doesn't have an S&P mode. You just hit the memory with your
callsign and when they come back to you you hit the memory with the
exchange.

Normally with N1MM you can designate whether you wish to run or use S&P.
Of
course when running you normally hit the enter key and your transceiver
calls CQ. When someone responds to your CQ you enter their callsign and
hit
enter and your transceiver sends the exchange. Once that is done they give
you their exchange and you hit enter and your transceiver sends TU and
QRZ.
And then the process of calling CQ starts all over again. I see that there
are S&P memories, but don't see anything specific with regards to running.
Can anyone assist me with this?
