Hello Gary,
I'm running a Pro III, as well as a 756 non-pro for SO2R
operation.
Have you checked the baud rate in the radio settings? Confirm that
the radio is also set to 9600?
When I first setup for SO2R, this is what drove me nuts trying to
find. My 756 non-pro defaults to 1200,
yet I had writelog set to 9600. Just my first thought of what to
check.

Hello,
I am trying to get my radio (ICOM PRO III) to read the
frequency. I get "No Rig"
Using latest version of WL 11.32D and the OS is 8.1
Under Ports in WL Comm 4 is set : Icom IC-756PRO3 Pol is
checked Comm PTT No
In the ini file [Rigs]
Comm4:=9600,n,8,2
The CI-V cable is good, have used it on other radios
Would appreciate hearing from other PRO 3 users with WriteLog
and what your settings are or anyone who could offer the
reason for the problem.
Does K9JY,Scott have a good e-mail address ?

Well if it works in nn1n then then the problem is in WL. wHen you
up graded to WIn8 maybe It messes up the .ini file. I would find
writelog.ini and rename it to writelog.bak.
Startup WL and reenter you ports information. If you civ works
with the new writelog.ini file, then compare the old one to the
new one, else go back and rename writelog.bak to writelog.ini
after deleting the new one.
Hope this helps
