Wayne,
If you only plan to have one rig going, wire tip and ring together with one
wire and connect the other to ground. This will put the audio on both channels.
If you only want to go to one channel, one wire goes to Tip, the other to Gnd.
Line-In is Stereo and so for stereo input, you would use 2 transformers
with 2 audio sources. One goes to Tip and Gnd the other to Ring and Gnd.
