I use WIN2000. I commend you for trying to eliminate ME!
I have Rig control on COMM3 and I have CW and PTT on COMM 2.
I was unable to use COMM 4 and I think WriteLog has some type of problem
here. Other programs use COMM 4 with no problem at all.
COMM 3 and COMM 4 are on a PCI COMM card.
LPT WILL NOT work in WIN2000 and I am suer it will not work in WINXP
either. These are basically the same thing underneath.
I don' know what the DXP38 is but your best bet if you can do it is to use
COMM 1 and 2 for everything. I don't know why the program has problems with
the other ports. It may be my cards, it may be WIN2K OR it may be
WriteLog. Personally I think it is WriteLog as all of my other programs use
it with no problem. Nevertheless, I am ok as I don't need it now.
