In the first place, MSDOS 6.22 or any prior version does NOT have the ability to access a hd under 98 or any other version. You'll get an "invalid media error message". The simple answer is to find a buddy who has 98, and have him create an "Emergency Boot Disk". Now hit "del" as soon as the computer is turned on, ( or whatever key sends you to the BIOS ) and change the boot order from HD to A. You will now be able to access the HD, amd run any NON-windows program. 73 Ed |
