[WriteLog] Best/easiest Windows version for WL?

I'm getting ready to switch from TR to WriteLog and I've been doing my
fair share of reading.  However, I'm curious as to whether there is an
optimum version of Windows to use.

I've been on the K9JY site (excellent) and looked over the comments on the
various versions of Windows.  The versions with the fewest comments are
win95/98.  Does this imply that is the best platform for WL?
