In a real emergency, you will probably log every contact, if only to keep track
of what is happening. An emergency is an emergency, not an excuse for rag
chewing, and communications must be controlled. Perhaps the message handling
part of Field Day could be improved by changing the exchange to a message
header type field, a la Sweepstakes.

Subject: [WriteLog] Field Day
I thought Field Day was supposed to be fun not "cut throat" contesting.
What ever happened to paper dupe sheets? After all just who will log every
station during an emergency. Isn't Field Day supposed to be "training" for the
real thing.
Just try to bring all your fancy networked stations to a hurricane area and
spend days setting them up.
