Dave, I also found this to be a problem. There is also a problem in posting
a split frequency spot. Sometimes the QSX frequency is not entered into the
outgoing packet spot posting, and sometimes it is. It seems inconsistent.
I also find that I have to click on the packet callout several times for the
entry to cause the radio to switch to the proper frequency. If it is a split
callout, such as on 40 and 80, I have to click many times to get the radio to
take the split. I use a Ic756Pro2, and I suspect this has something to do
with the timing of the data comm from the computer to the radio. I have
tried both 4800 baud and 9600. 9600 seems to be somewhat better than 4800,
but it is even tempermental, and I find myself clicking on the packet spot
sometimes a dozen times or so in order to get the radio to switch. Does
anyone else experience this?
