[WriteLog] 10.49 setup

I just installed 10.49 but am having trouble with the rev video of xmit text 
i.e. the xmit text looks garbled and is hard to read .... I don't think this 
has anything to do with 10.49 but I do't recall how to fix this?  Can someone 
point me to a solution ....
