The downloads page (http://www.writelog.com/downloads.htm) has a comment for
each WLxxxxUPG.ZIP naming the oldest version it can upgrade. The 10.29
upgrade can go back as far as 10.22.
In addion, every time you purchase WL (either as a new customer, or as an
upgrade -- probably would be better to call it a "renewal") you should
receive instructions on how to download the full installer that is current
at that time. You should definitely install the full version when you get
one. So you should never see a situation where the version you have on disk
to be upgraded is more than a year older than the upgrade you are trying to
install.

Subject: [WriteLog] rookie question
I switched to WriteLog from CT last spring because I bought a new computer
which came with Windows ME installed and I could no longer use a DOS-based
logging program. I have used version 10.27D in about four or five contests,
including the recent ARRL 10 Meter contest, with no problems at all. My
question is about updates. I have downloaded updates 10.27G, 10.28D, and
10.29E; but I haven't bothered to install any of them because 10.27D has
been working perfectly for me. My question is, when I do decide to install
an update, do I have to install all the intermediate updates or just the
latest one?
