purchasing a 222MHz Big Wheel antenna. Wimo antennas in Germany makes Big
Wheel horizontal omnis for 2 mtrs and 432MHz.

them in the U.S. Unlike a loop. they have some gain over a dipole. There are
YouTube videos describing construction of, and operation with 2 mtr. Big Wheel
in U.K. Wimo would make a wheel for 222 MHz if there is sufficient
interest, i.e. firm commitment for at least 40 antennas. Price is about the
same as their 2 meter Wheel, 120 - 150 euro. I can tell you from experience
they are well made and can survive at least 60 mph driving without damage. If
there is sufficient interest I will try to coordinate a group purchase. Please
