I am so sorry to hear that Bernie, VE1UT, has become a Silent Key.
When I lived in Elizabeth City, NC, I perpetually looked for him on 2 meters.
We achieved Our first 2m QSO was on 09june1978 when I was still K1FJM.
May Bernie continue to provide NB section on VHF & up from his new location on
high.
