Does anyone know of a fixed station use of this antenna? I'm trying to get back onto SSB and need to move in inexpensive baby steps and this looks like a good fit for my situation. I know I'm sacrificing gain for mono-boom / tri-band performance but I need the lower "visual" impact in my subdivision. I figure a so-so signal is better than no signal. Any thoughts or other alternatives. -- Mike Urich http://ka5cvh.com The last time all it took was 18 minutes on 21 Apr 1836 Life is hard, church shouldn't be! http://fairmontpark.org _______________________________________________ VHFcontesting mailing list VHFcontesting@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/vhfcontesting |
