The Program and Services Committee has approved a change in the way the
dates that the January VHF Sweepstakes are determined.  The date is no
longer tied to the "weekend before the NFL Super Bowl" as previously
done.  For the next several years, the date will be "as determined by
the ARRL Contest Branch."  This is to avoid, if possible, a conflict
with CQ 160 and the NAQP.

For 2005, the dates will be January 22-24.
