I'm not aware of an established frequency for JT65 on 220 or higher bands. I
really wanted to try yesterday around 432.076 yesterday (consistent with the
.076 everywhere else) but chickened out as the frequency is designated for
"weak signal work" and although JT should technically qualify, I'm not sure
whether AFSK modes are appropriate there. Then again I guess nobody complains
on the other bands where it's interspersed with CW.
Should I just start operating there and hope it catches on? :)
I could see this being of some value for the microwave sprint as well, although
unless I find a 33cm transverter in a hurry my only option for JT will be 10w
on 23cm via the TS-2000X.
By the way, I only made 3 QSOs last night but I'm not complaining given my QTH.
Thanks to WW8M, K8CC, and W8RU for being out there! And for putting up with
my rusty contesting. As much as I love it, banging out my old novice call
makes me wish the FCC would pick me for one of those 1x2 calls one of these
days. Still bitter that I missed out on AI8E. ;)
