All, W3SO, LM, will be on for the ARRL Jan. VHF Sweepstakes Contest from FN00sn (starts1900 UTC Saturday, ends 0400 UTC Monday (January 22-24, 2005). The 2m beam boom broke due to heavy icing. It was taken down over the weekend and fortunately W3YOZ had another which he installed today. There is cold, nasty weather in the Altoona, PA mountains. W3SO has power and good antennas for 50, 144, 222, and 432 MHz (CW, SSB, and FM). For station info see <www.qrz.com/w3so>. Good luck to all; and rovers, drive safely.
