Yes there was some aurora that showed up the previous evening. i did see that some contacts were made on 50 MHz and  maybe 144. I was not able to get on  so have no report from here. NC1I and N1DPM saw some nice red AU from their spot in FN32.  It was cloudy here until very late. I checked after it cleared off here, but saw nothing.

So don't forget this evening is 222 Activity Night. Unless you have a signed excuse from your teacher or hall monitor, you will be expected to at least make a showing for a little while on or about 222.100 MHz. Any mode is fine as long as the person on the other end has a clue of what you are doing.  Most of us use SSB, CW, FT8, or Q65.  The wx looks quiet and only some rain showers in Western NY and down in Florida.  My fingers are crossed for the FLA hams. I sure hope things moderate before late Wed night. The SE has been getting hammered lately.

I am a bit late with this. I hope to see you on 222 this evening and have fun.
