This weekend’s VHF contest will have a special operatingsegment on Sunday afternoon called The Packrat Bowl. The idea is to promoteanalog activity everywhere from 1900 to 2200 UTC, 144.180 – 144.220MHz. This willallow stations find each other to make contacts and move up the bands moreeasily. If you don’t have SSSB/CW gear, give FM simplex a try! Please spreadthe word and let’s turn around the downward trend of participation. Have fun and I hope to hear you on the air. 73, Peter WW2Y _______________________________________________ VHFcontesting mailing list VHFcontesting@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/vhfcontesting |
